The Japanese automaker has debuted the Camry TRD sedan/saloon series, which will be limited to 6,000 units attractively priced $4,000 USD below the V6-packing XSE with the same specs.
Despite the fairly large production run, dealerships will only be receiving a few dozen cars per year, so pre-ordering early is essential.
In its TRD guise, the Camry packs a 3.5-liter V6 under the hood which produces 301 horsepower (225 kilowatts). It also boasts a special body kit, a trunk spoiler, black TRD wheels, and a performance exhaust system.
The manufacturer claims the family-friendly sports car needs six seconds to get to 100 km/h (62 mph) and maxes out upon reaching 240 km/h (149 mph).
Quite an improvement over the stock Camry, don’t you think?
