$35k buys you this Toyota Camry with $100k worth of mods

A heavily tuned Toyota Camry is up for bartering in the United States right now. Carscoops believes the mods cost around $100,000 USD to buy and install, making the asking price of $35,000 relatively tame.

We are told that the Camry was built five years ago and modified for the 2017 SEMA show. Rutledge Wood, ex-host of Top Gear USA, took part in the project.

The authors of the project drew inspiration from the aeronautical theme, painting the exterior blue and producing numerous body kit parts with the help of a 3D printer. From the technical side of things, it is a stock U.S.-spec Camry with a 3.5-liter V6 churning out its standard 300 PS (296 hp / 221 kW).

New elements on the outside include bumpers, widened arches, a carbon-fiber spoiler in the back and 20-inch rose-gold wheels shod in Continental ExtremeContact tires. The suspension is new and caters for a lower ride, and the brakes are stronger than stock.Interior highlights include a Focal audio system with an amplifier and a subwoofer, as well as brown leather on the seats and doors.
