The facelifted Toyota Camry is already available in Japan starting from the equivalent of 26,500 USD.
The changes are quite insignificant. For instance, you can now specify Emotional Red III for the exterior finish and Sienna-tinted leather for the cabin trim, but that’s about the extent of it. The company also mentions replacing outdated USB Type-A ports throughout the car with the newer Type-C standard.
The current generation of the Camry goes hybrid-only in Japan with a choice between FWD and AWD. The update also extends to the Daihatsu Altis, a car based on the same platform and popular almost exclusively among corporate customers in Japan.
