Toyota Celica rocks muscle car looks thanks to a Malaysian tuner

Toyota had a compact and affordable sports car going with the Celica back in the day, but most examples surviving to the present days are due some restoration, at least. Malaysia-based tuning shop Galeri Kereta did that, and more, with this Celica that seems to bridge Asia and the USA.

The team repainted the orange coupe in black to lend it some extra visual aggression. It also expanded the arches quite a bit, enlarged the front lip spoiler, and replaced the bumper and the grille with a gimmicky animated LED array.

The interior no longer has its stock black leather and plastic trim. Instead, fine orange leather and Alcantara cover most surfaces, with only some accents in black left for contrast. Power comes from a naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine with a few upgrades over the stock setup, but the company stays silent about the specifics.
