In Germany, people generally regard the Toyota Corolla Hybrid as a smart choice of someone who cares for environment preservation. The sporty-looking car comes with 180 horsepower (134 kilowatts) under the hood – not too exciting, but good enough to remain reasonably popular in its market segment. A few days ago, German car tuner Tom’s presented its own take on the hybrid car.
The modded Corolla sports large fender flares, expansive side skirts, a gigantic roof wing and a quad-pipe exhaust system somewhat similar to that of the Lexus IS F.
The tuner decided against messing with the silver paint the car shipped in, arguing that it created a nice contrast against the custom aerodynamic parts. It did paint the exhaust tips dark blue, though, and added black side flaps along with a massive black diffuser.
How do you like this job by Tom’s?
