Did you expect a Thailand-only Nurburgring Edition of one of Toyota’s tamest compacts, the Corolla? Neither did we. Apparently, it is meant as a celebration of the class victory Toyota Gazoo Racing Team Thailand scored at the 24 Hours of the Nurburgring.
The car sports slightly redesigned front bumper and radiator grille, which ere stylized to resemble those of the winning racer. There are also side skirts, a trunk lid spoiler and a fake diffuser built into an aggressive-looking new rear bumper.
There are captions saying ‘Corolla Altis Nürburgring 24’ on the front fenders and a lower ground clearance, although suspension details remain unknown. The company claims the limited edition has better throttle response, but the same power as the standard Corolla.
