Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corporation, of course, could not stay away from the upcoming home Tokyo auto show. It was to this event that he prepared the conceptual sedan Crown Concept, the official premiere of which was held today. The company said that the presented machine will form the basis of a four-door model of a new generation.
It was not surprising that the TNGA platform (Toyota New Global Architecture) was used to create the Crown Concept. The concept, of course, amazes with an abundance of innovations. He got updated bumpers, the design of the radiator grille has changed completely. However, nothing is known about the technical innovations used to create the concept.
However, according to leaked bits of information, it became clear that Crown Concept received the current time system ITS Connect, allowing the sedan to "communicate" with other cars and road infrastructure. Also in the company they told that the test prototype of the novelty was tested on the "Northern loop" of the Nurburgring.
On the remaining details concerning new items from Japanese manufacturers, we will be able to find out only after the start of the Tokyo Motor Show, which will be held on October 25. Serial production of the new model Toyota Crown will start in the summer of 2018.
