Toyota Crown debuts in two special versions

Toyota Motor Company has launched two exclusive Crown variants in Japan, the RS [Four] Limited II and the S [Four] Elegance Style III. Let’s see what’s new and exciting.

Compared to the standard RS specification, the Limited II tops it off with matte-black wheels sized 18 inches across, dark chrome trim pieces, and ventilated front seats. The Elegance Style III adds 18-inch chrome wheels and beige leather in the cabin. Both feature Nanoe X, an air disinfection system co-developed with Panasonic.

Power comes from a hybrid powertrain using a 2.5-liter non-turbo engine and an electric motor for 226 PS (223 hp / 166 kW) total.

Sales in Japan have already begun. The RS Limited II and RS Four Limited II cost between 5.23 and 5.67 million Japanese Yen, while the S Elegance Style III and S Four Elegance Style III come priced between 5.29 and 5.51 million JPY.

The RWD sedan went into its fifteenth generation nearly four years ago and received its latest facelift last fall (see video).
