Japanese aftermarket shop Blitz revealed a rather over-the-top body kit for the Toyota GR and its twin, Subaru BRZ, last year. The kit (see video) was not to everyone’s liking, so the company has now followed up with a significantly different Version 2.
Included in this new package are a pronounced front splitter sporting body-matching accents, widened side skirts, a rear diffuser with fin-like attachments at the sides, and a couple of spoilers to choose from. If the taller option is too much for you, the shorter one will do the trick – and both come with adjustable blades, making them useful for the occasional track day drive.
Obtainable for a premium are special decals contrasting with the main color of the car and a set of blue-burnt exhaust tips. The wheels pictured here aren’t on the list, so you will have to find them elsewhere. The redesigned front bumper from the last year is gone, too – and we doubt it will be missed, seeing how many criticized it in the first place.
Customers in Japan can already preorder the whole kit in an unpainted GFRP form for the rough equivalent of $4,000 USD, plus installation costs. Opting for carbon fiber, a finish of your choice and installation will roughly double the price.
