Japanese auto customization shops really astonish with their release timeframes sometimes. Take Artisan Spirits: the team revealed some early 3D renderings of its new Toyota GT86 aerodynamic kit a mere month ago, and it is already in stock!
The new carbon costume makes the car look quite a bit like the latest Supra, but this is natural and unsurprising. The headlights and the front air intakes try the hardest to imitate Toyota’s newest flagship.
The package also lists a front splitter, bolt-on fender flares, the Voltex GT fixed rear wing, a rear diffuser (quite tame by JDM standards), and rocker panels. The side skirts and rear fenders don’t seem too good of a match for the doors, though, distorting the outlines of the vehicle in a way we don’t like much.
Among other things, Artisan Spirits gives the Toyota GT86 an original set of wheels, a stance and a custom exhaust system with swanky ‘blue-burnt’ tips.
