This Toyota GT86 is well over two meters wide!

Seriously, just look at this crazily over-the-top GT86. Recognize Japanese craftsmanship? Oh, but you don’t! Despite all evidence to the contrary, the body kit has been designed by the 326 POWER team from the UK. But yeah, the JDM vibe surely *is* here.

In fact, there might be too much of it. The extreme flares make the sports car a whopping 40 centimeters (15.4 inches) wider than before, putting it on par with the Ford F-150 pickup truck in terms of width (2.17 meters / 7.12 feet).

Luckily for us and our sanity, the GT86 by 326 POWER UK looks more like a racecar of sorts, rather than a truck. The 18-inch, ultra-deep-concave Yabaking rims painted bright white, the front spoiler lip, the voluminous side skirts and the huge rear wing all contribute to the impression in some extent.

Nothing is being revealed about the aerodynamic efficiency of the kit, which most likely means it doesn’t do much good on that count, if anything. Besides, with a ‘demon’ camber like this, you probably won’t ride very far before the chassis and the tires disintegrate. Auto shows, now – that is a different story.

Next thing in the list, 326 POWER UK wants to devise a similar kit for the new Toyota Supra. We dread the implications.
