The Toyota HiAce has been around since 1967, lending itself to passenger and cargo transportation, corporate uses, taxi fleets, ambulance services and whatnot. Its exterior has not grown any younger throughout the decades, and Japanese tuning company TSDstyling decided to freshen it up a bit.
The body kit you see here has been developed by T-style Group that TSDstyling is a part of. The main inspiration was the Dodge A100, a classic American compact van. The entire front fascia has been reimagined with round headlights, a new bumper, a shiny radiator grille and a low-slung front apron.
A look from the sides reveals door trims, chromed mirror caps and round viewports in the rear side panels (cargo version). The ground clearance looks minimal all around.
Speaking of which, air suspension, 15-inch retro wheels and an imitation leather trim for the interior are al listed under options. It looks like the tuning company does not sell the kit separately, though. It did sell a van like this to a customer for €29,100 not long ago, so that’s probably the price point to use as a reference.
