The work of engineering can be not only real cars, but also toy cars. Collectors probably remember the Bruiser radio-controlled car. For its time, 80-ies of the last century, it was a very "advanced" toy. Metal case, spring suspension and three-speed gearbox - that's what the model from Bruiser could boast of.
Apparently, the engineers of the Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corporation were subjected to a nostalgia, as the company showed its popular pickup Toyota Hilux, which completely copies the radio-controlled car.
To strengthen the resemblance to the model, the Toyota Hilux Bruiser was equipped with a mock-up with an antenna and rear blinds. However, unfortunately, there is no possibility to operate this car with a joystick.
By the way, together with Japanese specialists, the staff of the tuning studio of Arctic Trucks worked on the creation of Toyota Hilux Arctic Trucks AT35, which professionally engaged in "pumping" SUVs and pickup trucks.
The real embodiment of the toy from Bruiser boasts FOX shock absorbers and massive 17-inch wheels. The body of the car is painted in the colors of the original toy.
Under the hood, the Toyota Hilux Arctic Trucks AT35 is equipped with a 2.4-liter 148-hp diesel, working in conjunction with a mechanical transmission.
