The 7th generation of the Toyota Hilux (2005–2015) doesn’t impress much with its engine range. The TRD Edition alone boasted a supercharged V6 4.0, and that one was limited to Australia only. With this V8-packing Hilux, you can feel your sense of justice gratified.
According to the project description, the truck was swapped to a V8 6.2 mill of Mercedes-AMG origins. In all likelihood, this refers to the 457-hp (341-kW) engine of the C63 AMG (W204). That said, the 525-hp (391-kW) unit of the E63 AMG (W212) is also possible. Whichever the case, the exhaust is custom-made, too, and the transmission is manual.
Low ride height, new wheels, and a wrap covering the aprons and the lower doors round off the project.
