Toyota Hilux spawns two mildly special editions in Thailand

Both limited editions bear the same nameplates (Revo GR Sport), but one of them is focused on urban driving and the other one on off-roading.

The sported-up red car gets a new front bumper, side sill extensions, a rear diffuser, 17-inch black wheels clad in asphalt-loving tires, and red brake calipers. It rides 23 mm (0.9”) lower than stock and has a sports steering wheel inside with a 12-o-clock marker. The seats feature lateral support and inbuilt headrests.

The 2.8-liter turbo diesel under the hood stays stock at 204 PS (201 hp / 150 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft), and uses a six-speed automatic transmission to drive the rear wheels.

The white pickup wears an off-road body kit with a skid plate and has larger 18-inch wheels. The suspension benefits from new, differently adjusted shock absorbers and springs, and all four wheels are driven. The engine is the same.

Toyota never mentioned whether it would launch the Hilux Revo GR Sport in any other country aside from Thailand.
