The Toyota Hilux Rogue had been available Down Under before (the video gives an example), but the new version stands farther apart from the stock with its 140 mm (5.5 inches) of extra track width and increased suspension travel.
The springs and shock absorbers are new, and a sway bar is added to the formula to reduce swaying by 20 percent. The brakes at the rear end are now represented by rotors instead of drums, and the ones at the front axle are larger in diameter.
Other distinct features include flared wheel arches and large mudflaps. Power still comes from the standard 2.8-liter diesel engine rated at 204 PS (201 hp / 150 kW). The transmission is also stock.
Prices start from 70,200 AUD, which roughly translates into 47,400 USD at the current rate.
