2021 Toyota Innova pics leak ahead of premiere

Multiple sources have posted what they claim are leaked images of the 2021 Toyota Innova facelift. The body-on-frame MPV should go on sale after the technically related Hilux pickup and the Fortuner SUV.

The radiator grille now reminds us of the former. The front bumper has been redesigned, the wheel selection is now wider, and it looks like the contents of the headlights may be new, too. The rear clip stays unchanged, however. The body dimensions likely stay the same at 4,735 mm (15.53 ft.) long with 2,750 mm (9.02 ft.) between the axles. No interior shots have been provided.

The pre-facelift Innoca comes equipped with naturally aspirated gasoline (2.0L, 2.7L) and diesel (2.4L, 2.8L) engines mated to manual and automatic transmissions. The drive is on the rear axle in all versions. It is worth mentioning that the 2.8L diesel version of the Fortuner and Hilux has received an update recently, improving heat dissipation and rising from 177 hp (132 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque to 204 hp (152 kW) and 500 Nm (373 lb-ft).

The latest Toyota Innova has been available on Indian, Middle East and Southeastern Asian markets for five years now. It comes in seven- and eight-seater variants with such options as climate control, cruise control, reversing camera, and hill climb assist.
