Used Toyota Land Cruiser 70 costs more than a new LC 300 in Russia

The seller of this six-year-old Toyota Land Cruiser 70 asks ₽6,990,000 for it ($94,500 USD), arguing that it has been perfectly preserved with only 950 km (590 miles) on the odo.

The MSRP of a brand-new Land Cruiser 300 in Krasnodar, Russia is considerably lower at ₽5,776,000 ($78,100 USD). The seller points out that the old Cruiser was originally bought as an investment and had only two owners. It was allegedly kept in a special conditioned garage and underwent regular maintenance. Judging by the photos, it is indeed close to new with no signs of wear outside or in the cabin.

As you can see, the SUV has several OEM accessories on it, including a snorkel, an expedition rack, auxiliary lighting and a trailer hitch. There is an infotainment system inside that looks like it could be aftermarket, but this is not confirmed.

Power comes from a 4.2-liter diesel engine rated at 135 PS (133 hp / 99 kW), which works in tandem with a manual transmission.
