New Land Cruiser 300 loses what little off-road chops it had with this styling kit

M’z Speed has attended this year’s Tokyo Auto Salon with its own stylistic rendition of the Toyota Land Cruiser 300. The package is purely for show and doesn’t look like it would make cross-country driving easier in the slightest.

Starting at the front, there is a new radiator grille without the Toyota logo, a bumper with added air intakes, and a more prominent skid plate. The DRLs have been expanded and now double as turn blinkers. The fenders can be obtained in a body-matched version, black, or fake carbon (a vinyl wrap, most likely).

New things at the rear include a lip spoiler below the window, a diffuser-like bumper extension and a quarter of exhaust finishers. Power stays untouched, which implies either a 3.5L gasoline engine rated at 415 PS (409 hp / 305 kW) or a 3.3L diesel one good for 310 PS (306 hp / 228 kW). A ten-speed automatic transmission sends the momentum to the wheels.

M’z Speed asks for a rough equivalent of $2,900 USD for the unpainted kit. Specifying a paint bumps the price to $4,150. The DRLs and exhaust tips are purchased separately.
