Toyota Land Cruiser 200-to-300 styling kit announced in China

China-based tuning shop GBT, which specializes in what it calls ‘micro-facelifting’, has presented a custom parts kit that can make your Toyota Land Cruiser 200 look like the new generation.

The front clip gets a revised bumper and radiator grille, while the headlights receive new DRL sections. The tail pulls off a fairly convincing Land Cruiser 300 look thanks to a bumper, a tailgate and redesigned brake lights.

Prices remain to be announced, and GBT points out you can revert all the styling changes.

The kit may be of interest to those who are not interested in buying the new Land Cruiser 300, but like its appearance. It should also appeal to those uninterested in waiting several months or even a few years for their SUV to be delivered. Toyota itself admitted the backorder issues, claiming they were caused by overwhelming demand, but earlier reports stated the automaker had to stop its factories in Japan repeatedly due to quarantine restrictions and chip supply problems.
