Japanese tuner Jaos has presented a rugged upgrade for the new Toyota Land Cruiser 300, notably improving suspension and body protection.
New springs raise the SUV from 235 to 275 mm (9.2 to 10.75 inches), which should improve its terrain performance. New Tribe Cross wheels measure 20 inches across and come wrapped in Toyo Open Country R 285/55 tires.
Further modifications include mirror covers, wheel arches and door handles, an added roof basket with some auxiliary lights on it, and film protection for lower bumpers and side sills all around. Rounding off the build are Battlez Muffler ZS-2 exhaust finishers.
The V6 under the hood, whether petrol or diesel, stays stock. Prices remain to be announced for everything but the wheels, which come in an assortment of finishes priced at 81,400 JPY / 1 pcs ($707 USD).
Jaos unveiled a tuning kit for the new Lexus LX last month, landing he premium SUV with a carbon-fiber body kit and rally-spec wheels (see video).
