ICON restores yet another Land Cruiser FJ40

Few SUVs have such a vast legacy as the Toyota Land Cruiser, and ICON dedicates itself to keeping that legacy alive. This 1962 FJ40 Cruiser is one of their recent works.

The tuner restored the bodywork to near-top condition (barring scratches on the arches and the bumpers) and put new American Racing wheels shod in BFGoodrich tires in the arches.

Off-road-friendly upgrades included halogen headlights, auxiliary lighting all around and an integrated front bumper winch. The cabin received an overhaul in black leather and grey textile, and the rear bench was made removable. The driver may now take advantage of a modern Alpine audio system complete with an amplifier and everything.

A four-cylinder turbo diesel with 2.8 liters of displacement drives all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission, but its output is not stated anywhere.
