Toyota Land Cruiser 300 becomes a truck Down Under

The team over at Creative Conversions (Australia) has turned a Toyota Land Cruiser 300 into a serviceable pickup truck – and is now offering similar conversions to anyone interested.

The donor vehicle is a 3.3-liter diesel truck equipped with a ten-speed automatic transmission – the only specification available on the southern continent at the moment. You get to choose between 1.8-meter (6ft) or 2.1-meter (7ft) long bed: the former requires expanding the wheelbase by 70 cm (roughly 27 inches) and the latter by 80 cm (31 inches).

Depending on your choices, the maximum fully loaded weight can be either 3.8 or 4.5 metric tons (8,400 – 10,000 lbs). In addition to this, the pickup can tow trailers weighing up to 4.2 metric tons (9,260 lbs).

A rather creative conversion, wouldn’t you say?
