When it revealed the next generation of the Land Cruiser Prado, Toyota flashed a presentation slide with what looked like its other planned releases – two crossovers and a scooter. The company has not provided any further details yet.
A detailed look at the slide makes it clear that the car on the left resembles the Compact Cruiser EV Concept (see video). It was introduced over two years ago as an ideological successor to the FJ Cruiser. Nothing about the project has been revealed since then.
The large SUV on the right has a coupe-like shape and a glass dome that gets smaller towards the rear end. There is also no radiator grille, which implies an all-electric powertrain.
Intriguingly enough, the scooter is actually a tricycle with two wheels at the front – a so-called ‘reverse trike’ design. It is obvious that it is an off-roader, and if Toyota is serious about producing it, we should hear more about it soon.
