The new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado J250 is available Down Under as a special edition starting from 100,000 AUD ($66,400).
There will be five trim levels to choose from, but they all get the same 2.8-liter diesel engine pushing 204 PS (201 hp / 150 kW) to the wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The flagship trim is called Kakadu and is already on sale. Toyota says it was developed specifically for Australia with a different front fascia and radiator grille resembling those of the previous-generation Prado. There is also a Toyota badge instead of lettering, and most body kit parts are painted to match the body. The running boards are wider than the international version and the interior is packed with premium features.
