The tuner team over at P.S. Modify Chonburi (Thailand) has built a Lamborghini Veneno clone based on the third generation of the Toyota MR2 roadster. You can probably see how well it went.
While the replica does make a certain effort to look like the real thing, too many factors prevent the illusion from working. The dimensions are way off, the air intakes are too different, the windshield framing is not right, and the exhaust tips are too small (aside from being fake, that is).
The real Lamborghini Veneno saw the light in 2013. A total of 14 units were produced, including 9 roadsters and 5 coupes. All 14 came equipped with 6.5-liter V12 engines rated at 750 horsepower (559 kilowatts).
This is not the first time obscure tuner shops attempt to imitate Lamborghini cars. An India-based tuner has recently unveiled an Aventador wannabee with the Honda Accord sedan/saloon at its base. Just like the latest creation of P.S. Modify Chonburi, the similarity wasn’t impressive in the slightest.
