The owner made a few modifications before the race, raising boost pressure from the already impressive 48 psi to 50+. As a result, the Honda K20 engine under the hood started hitting the wheels with around 1,217 PS (1,200 hp / 895 kW). The numbers look especially crazy if you consider that the mill has four cylinders and two liters of displacement.
On a drag strip somewhere in North America, the sleeper went 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) in 2.56 seconds, then to 130 mph (209 km/h) in 3.33 s, and finished the quarter-mile in just 8.87 s. It also managed to hit 174.55 mph (280 km/h) by the time it crossed the finish line, making it faster than any mass-produced vehicle out there – if not necessarily more stable or long-lasting.
