Near-unused 1993 Toyota Pickup heading to auction

This Toyota Pickup – known outside of North America as the fifth-generation Hilux – has 151 kilometers (94 miles) on the odometer to show for being 28 years old. You can try to bid for it at an auction set to start in January.

The original owner of the truck had driven it for 135 km (84 miles) before putting it into a garage and leaving it there until this summer. He sold it to someone else, who put another 16 km (10 miles) on the odo and proceeded to sell it on for $45,100 USD.

Judging by the photos alone, the third owner must have restored the exterior of the truck, buffing out a dent that the first owner said was left after a heavy object fell on it while in the garage. Nothing is being revealed about any other possible touchups, but they seem to be there.

The 1993 Toyota Pickup drives all four wheels with the help of a 22R-E 2.4-liter four-cylinder non-turbo rated at 114 PS (112 hp / 84 kW) and 192 Nm (142 lb-ft) of torque. The transmission is five-speed manual.
