Steve Both is asking mere $3,000 USD for a crazy Toyota Previa van running on a Ford EV chassis because why not.
A couple of years ago, Both drove his seedy Previa AWD through the Gambler 500 off-road course for tuned cars. He didn’t care to actually tune it for the rally and ended up with a hydro-shocked engine.
The man towed the car back and used its empty carcass to store spare parts for other vehicles. He ultimately got tired of keeping it around and decided to scrap it, but a friend forwarded him a sale ad for a 10-meter (30-foot) long Ford motorhome. Apparently, the vehicle was in such a bad condition that the seller was willing to give it away to anyone who bothered to show up.
This is when Steve got his idea to put his deceased Previa on the Ford chassis. The latter had barely more than 50,000 miles (80,000 kilometers) on its 7.5-liter Big Block V8, so it could still be driven.
It took mere four days for Both and his friends to merge the cars together, and the tuner says it was not too difficult of a task. The result looks downright horrific, but is drivable and still available for the abovementioned three grand.
