To celebrate 20 years of the U.S.-spec Prius hybrid, the Japanese carmaker will be releasing a special batch called the 2020 Edition, limited to only 2020 units.
The car boasts glossy black accents throughout the body, dark 17-inch wheels, tinted lights all around, and special mirror caps. Customers will be able to choose between white and dark red for the main body color.
The cabin comes trimmed in predominantly dark hues and sports Anniversary Edition badges. The gear selector cover is now also black instead of blue.
The Toyota Prius 2020 Edition comes with the latest package of safety aids already installed. Starting next year, all U.S.-spec Prius models will get the same safety package as part of the basic equipment.
The price remains to be announced.
