According to the short teaser video published the other day, the Toyota Nightshade family will soon welcome its tenth member, a Prius.
The range already includes the 4Runner, Avalon, CH-R, Camry, Corolla sedan and hatchback (see our gallery), Sequoia, Tacoma, and Tundra models. All nine sport blacked-out exteriors and cabins.
The video shows what looks like an all-black Prius rear with the Toyota badge on the trunk lid also in the dark. If other models are any indication, the special edition will include original wheels, a modified front grille, a new rear diffuser, assorted ornamental details, special body finishes (all of them darkened in some way), and certain cabin gimmicks.
The price should lie a few thousand USD above that of the normal Prius. For instance, the regular CH-R starts from U.S. $21,595, while its Nightshade Edition will set you back $2,800 more.
