Hardly had Toyota revealed its next-gen Prius when its in-house tuning division Modellista came forth with a selection of aftermarket options for the model.
There are two packages to choose from. The first one is called Neo Advance and includes a revised front bumper with enlarged air intakes, reshaped side applications and blue LED inserts. New plastic components can be found on the side sills and at the rear end.
The other package, Elegant Ice, lacks any additional lighting but sprinkles the car with chrome instead. It contains a number of purely stylistic add-ons, most notably a couple of fake exhaust finishers for the rear end.
We were unable to find out what diameter the new wheels are; the stock ones measure 19 inches across.
It would be reasonable to expect the buyers of the new Toyota Prius PHEV to be interested in an upgrade like this more than anyone else. The plug-in hybrid version of the hatchback has 223 PS (220 hp / 164 kW) at its disposal and sprints 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 6.7 seconds, making it the fastest and most powerful in its range.
