The Throttle House crew on YouTube has posted another drag race video where it compared a 2023 Toyota Prius Prime against a Subaru WRX and a Mazda3.
The Prius utilizes a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine mated to an electric motor. The automaker specifies the 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) sprint time as 6.6 seconds.
In turn, the Mazda is turbocharged and pumps out 250 PS (247 hp / 184 kW). The Subaru is still the strongest of the three with 271 PS (267 hp / 199 kW), though. The Prius is also the only vehicle that makes do with a front-wheel drive instead of AWD, and is the heaviest to boot.
