Toyota has announced an all-electric variant of its ProAce Verso van coming to Europe in February 2021.
The passenger van lends itself equally well for businesses and private customers, the company claims. It comes in two battery sizes (50 and 75 kilowatt-hours) and uses a single electric motor good for 136 PS (134 hp / 100 kW) and 260 Nm (192 lb-ft) of torque. The maximum range amounts to 330 kilometers (205 miles), according to the WLTP measurement protocol.
The van can accommodate up to nine passengers and has over 1,050 liters (37.1 cubic feet) of trunk space with the seats folded.
The equipment list makes mention of an infotainment system with smartphone support, heated seats, keyless entry, and a wide assortment of driver assistance features. Sat-nav, reversing camera, climate control and blind spot monitoring are listed under paid options.
Prices remain unannounced thus far.
