Robert Carter, Executive VP of Toyota North America, has confirmed that a new all-electric vehicle is almost ready to premiere in the United States. Sources claim it is a Lexus luxury car, and we’ll soon learn whether this is the case.
In other recent news, Toyota has announced the electric Proace MPV launch in Europe. The minivan, which you can see in our gallery and the video here, is closely related to the Peugeot Partner and the Citroen Berlingo.
The Proace EV is slated to hit the showrooms across Europe in two versions: standard wheelbase and LWB. It will share the powertrain with the Peugeot e-208, including its single electric motor worth 136 PS (134 hp / 100 kW) and 50-kWh traction battery.
