A tuning company named Alpine Style has unveiled styling packages for the Toyota Hiace MPV and Raize SUV, making both look like something out of the 1970s.
The minivan is dubbed ‘Carica’, which unfolds into ‘California Dreaming Car’. It sports two pairs of square headlights, an impressive chrome bumper and a two-tone paintjob.
Buyers can choose from two finishes for the accents. One goes all-out on chrome, putting some on the wheel hubcaps and most exterior trim bits, while the other one keeps most of the details black. The rear end of the van can be repurposed for a sleeping area or a camping tent.
The cabin comes with three displays – an 11-inch digital gauge cluster, a 12-inch digital rearview mirror and a 12.8-inch multimedia screen for the rear seat occupants. Such is not surprising, considering that Alpine Style is a subdivision of Alpine, a well-known car electronics company.
In turn, the Toyota Raize puts on a Havana suit inspired by Cuban automotive classics. Of course, being a modern SUV, it still looks the part at the front and at the rear.
Interior novelty for the Raize Havana boils down to a 9-inch multimedia touchscreen, a 12-inch digital mirror and a boosted version of the stock audio system.
Prices start from ¥4,000,000 for the Raize and ¥5,000,000 for the Havana.
