Japanese tuner shop Albermo has unveiled an unorthodox way to tune up your Toyota RAV4: The XR51 styling kit essentially makes the modest SUV look a bit like the iconic Lamborghini Urus.
The company honestly warns customers that, once installed, the kit may interfere with the electronic safety aids the car comes equipped with. Furthermore, according to it, the parts are likely to require further ‘adjustment and fitting’, which involves irreversibly cutting the car body. This can – and will – invalidate the OEM warranty.
Given that there are no tech or performance-related upgrades coming from the shop, be prepared that your RAV4 will continue to handle like the RAV4, rather than the Urus.
The kit costs 232,000 Japanese Yen (ca. 2,170 USD), plus whatever you end up paying for taxes, painting and shipping.
