Toyota has used the ongoing Chicago Auto Show as an opportunity to demonstrate us the “extreme” version of its Sequoia SUV, called the TRD Pro. Let us compare and see what is new.
First, the Sequoia TRD Pro boasts high-end Fox shock absorbers made from anodized aluminum. Second, its lighting is completely LED-based. It also sports 18-inch BBS wheels, aluminum running boards and an improved exhaust system with tips finished in black chrome.
The standard equipment includes USB ports, a voice assistant and a high-end audio system with smartphone support. Already on board are: emergency brake, pedestrian recognition, adaptive headlights, lane control, and active cruise control.
The new Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro comes powered by a 5.7L V8 engine with 386 hp (288 kW) at its disposal. The power unit connects to a six-speed manual gearbox and 4WD.
