Toyota Sienna becomes a mobile DJ station

The Toyota Sienna:Remix Concept pictured here was co-built between Complete Customs and SiriusXM as a 25,000-watt sound station on wheels.

The tailgate has been redesigned and now swing open to reveal a giant 43-inch screen displaying dynamic special effects in tune with the beat. There are also numerous speakers installed there and generous amounts of LED backlight.

The whole system comprises four 12-inch subwoofers, 36 middle-frequency speakers and tweeters, and 16 amps for the combined output of 25 kilowatts.

The interior has a lifting platform in the middle with a DJ console on it, a couple of players and other relevant equipment. The DJ can work it by opening the roof hatch and raising above the car on this improvised pedestal.

Six lithium-ion batteries provide the power for the equipment on board, while the van itself draws electric juice from its own NiMH battery pack.

The base vehicle is a 2.5-liter Sienna hybrid running on 22-inch wheels with a 50mm (2-inch) suspension lift.
