The new Toyota Sienta debuted in Japan not long ago as a compact and cute-looking seven-seater. Here’s how the manufacturer advertises it in Japan.
The short vid stars a cute small dog with fluffy ears, grey fur and white face that magically transforms into a minivan and take its owners for a ride. It is then shown running down a road and turning into a car again, this time around carrying gardening supplies.
In the next scene, the dog enjoys a picnic with the family and picks up a plastic bottle to keep nature clean. We will let you decide which of this is cute and which is just psychedelic.
From the technical perspective, the new Sienta uses the same TNGA-B platform as the latest Yaris MPV. The entry-level powertrain produces 90 PS (89 hp / 66 kW) and 120 Nm (89 lb-ft) of torque. Opting for the hybrid top spec gives you 120 PS (118 hp / 88 kW) and 145 Nm (107 lb-ft).
