Retro car enthusiasts in Japan may rent one for a drive from KINTO, which currently only has four old Toyotas in the pool but promises to keep adding more.
Your choices include a 1974 Levin TE27, a 1975 Celica 2.0, a 1982 Soarer MZ10 2.8 and a 1992 Supra 2.5 Twin Turbo. The most recent model (see video) will set you back ¥30,000 per day, while the other three come in at ¥35,000 per day.
KINTO is a rental service founded by fans and restorers of automotive classics. According to them, letting everyone rent these cars will boost public interest towards them and convince more people to invest in the restoration of retro rides.
