The revived Toyota Supra series will celebrate its international debut at the Detroit Motor Show on January 14, 2019. To make the waiting more bearable, the company revealed one last teaser photo of the new car.
The next Supra is based on the BMW Z4 platform and borrows many of its stylistic features from the FT-1 Concept the company showed us in Detroit four years ago.
There are two engines to choose from, a BMW Z4 V6 originally capable of 340 hp (254 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lbft) of torque, and a new 2.0-liter engine rated at 260 hp (194 kW). Both can be obtained with a six- or eight-speed automatic transmission.
More information will become available when the show starts on January 14, so stay tuned!
