WIP: Toyota GT86 Coupe Widebody by Artisan Spirits

The tuner team over at Artisan Spirits (Japan) has posted some images of its newest widebody kit for the Toyota GT86. Reportedly, the package is still not ready for production. Still, there are a few real-life photos showing the kit on a real GT86, so the waiting likely won’t be too long.

Overall, we find the aerodynamic components rather fitting and stylish, and the enormous rear wing is the only thing that seems to be present on the 3D renders but missing on the photos.

As far as the design goes, the tuner must have clearly been drawing inspiration from the Supra A90. There is the Supra’s telltale front apron with air intakes down both sides, widened to accommodate the larger fenders and rear end. The anti-fog brake lights now sit in the middle of the rear apron, and there is a Supra-like diffuser underneath.

The show car rides lower-than-stock on a set of Rays Motorsport forged wheels wrapped in Falken High Performance tires.
