Three years ago, German tuner Manhart Racing designed an upgrade for the 3.0-liter inline-six engine of the BMW Z4 roadster, bringing it to 440 hp (328 kW). Today, a similar kit goes live for the latest Toyota Supra.
The package includes a new ECU and a sports-grade exhaust system, and raises the performance to 450 hp (336 kW) and 650 Nm (480 lb-ft) of torque. This represents a sizeable boost from the factory-guaranteed 340 hp (254 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft).
Further options include two suspension lowering kits based on H&R and KW components, removal of catalytic converter, and deactivation of the engine start/stop system.
On the outside, the Manhart Supra GR 450 boasts a new body kit adorned with red accents, tuner badges and 20-inch wheels available in black and polished finishes. The tires measure 265/30 ZR20 at the front and 285/30 ZR20 at the rear.
