Stylizing cars to look like other, more expensive cars is a difficult and demanding task that is rarely performed with adequate professionalism. Even then, this Frankencar defies all logic.
Allegedly created by Karugu12, the ride is a Porsche Boxster in a Toyota GR Supra drag. A closer look at it tells a different story, though. The front end alone is more or less passable, ugly aftermarket headlights notwithstanding. The slap-on side skirts look like they may detriment the aerodynamic efficiency rather than the other way around, and the doors inexplicably look like LSD Doors for Lamborghini.
The rear end is where the horror reaches the climax, helped along by the abominable rear bumper, diffuser, and Renault Megane-style brake lights. The result looks every bit as much Supra as Ferrari F430 or Chevrolet Corvette, which is not a compliment. The admittedly rather clean interior makeover saves the situation somewhat.
While it is not our intention to denounce the author of this weird tuning, there is little debating the fact that it fails on a whole number of levels. Let us hope that the next attempt – if there ever is one – is better.
