The exclusive Toyota Supra GRMN Edition will hit the market armed with a BMW 3.0 S58, 510 hp / 380 kW, 7-speed DSG, and rear-wheel drive.
According to sources claiming inside knowledge of the company’s affairs, the drivetrain is essentially identical to that of the latest BMW M3 and M4. Its performance amounts to 510 horsepower (380 kilowatts) and 600 Newton-meters (443 pound-feet) of torque. Production should begin in 2023, and only 200 vehicles will roll off the assembly lines.
Taking into consideration the expenses associated with the engine swap and the limited availability of the series, we’d reckon that the new GRMN Supra will cost around twice the price of the standard fifth-gen coupe depicted here in our gallery.
