Toyota GR Supra GT4 50 Edition debuts with added features

Toyota launched the original GR Supra GT4 racecars in 2020, and managed to sell 50 of them before the end of 2021. The production continues now with another six upgraded vehicles called the GR Supra GT4 50 Edition. The pricing stays the same.

Each example comes finished in red with gold accents, and houses a redesigned racing seat for the driver with an embroidered logo. A passenger’s seat is optional, but you can now order it in the base spec. A full body cover is provided, and the car sports “50 Edition” badges everywhere along with a serial number on the carbon-fiber dash panel.

Front the outside, you can easily mistake the Supra racer for a road-legal car as long as you disregard the large rear wing and spoiler. The cabin is completely different, however, and features a full-fledged safety cage.

Powering the coupe is its standard 3.0-liter inline-six turbo rated at 423 PS (417 hp / 311 kW). An automatic transmission drives the rear axle.
