Performance car owners tend to crave everyone’s attention all the time, but Cody Hovland just upped the ante with his exhaust tip upgrade for the Toyota Supra.
He designed a pair of cylindrical tips culminating in special conical finishers with 96 sports whistles inserted into them in total. He also implemented a valve system to control how much exhaust goes into the whistles and how much escapes through a straight pipe. Whichever you choose, the result is infernally loud and may damage your hearing if you can stand being around it for more than a few minutes.
At around six minutes in, Hovland decided to go on a little test drive and loses one of the tips that blows off due to the pressure. Other than that, though, everything goes just as planned. Of course, driving a car like this constitutes a violation of noise pollution laws in many countries, and may quickly earn the attention-hungry driver a rendezvous with a police officer.
