Toyota disappoints fans with NO street-legal GR Supra debut at Geneva

Instead, the Japanese automaker favored the interests of sports car enthusiasts by bringing a brand-new Toyota GR Supra Racing Concept vehicle to the motor show in Switzerland. As such, it is now confirmed that the next-generation coupe gets released under the banner of Toyota’s subdivision Gazoo Racing (GR).

The entire body kit of the track-ready Toyota GR Supra Racing Concept is made of carbon. Interestingly enough, it has a plastic windshield in place of the traditional glass one – an innovation which doesn’t just reduce the car weight but also ensures better safety for the driver. It also sports appropriately low suspension and a powerful brake system.

The interior of the new Toyota GR Supra Racing Concept is practically a gold standard for its class. A racing-grade steering wheel, a specially designed dashboard, sport seats and other similar things provide an unmistakable impression of a racing vehicle hell-bent for victory.

Unfortunately, Toyota has never revealed any of the technical specifications of its GR Supra Racing Concept. It also refused to provide any kind of estimation on the release date of street-legal Toyota Supra.
