A Toyota Supra sport car issued back in 1994 has been sold for $80,500 at an auction in the USA. On the day it was released, the same vehicle cost almost twice as low – $47,795, to be precise.
This particular exemplar of Toyota Supra was in top state, only had 5,616 miles (9,038 km) on its odometer and came with a full package of necessary documentation, including a service booklet and an operation manual. To top that, the deal included all the original tools that came with the car when it was bought.
Remarkably enough, none of the three previous owners of the vehicle deemed it necessary (or appropriate) to remove the original factory sticker from the windshield. In fact, the only things that ever got replaced were the battery, the oil filter, and the tire set.
The original 1994 Toyota Supra two-door sports car shipped with a 3.0-liter, twin-turbo V6 engine on board. Its performance was rated at 324 hp (242 kW) and 427 Nm (315 lb·ft) of torque.
